Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By requesting an assessment, accepting a written quote, or using the services of Best Extreme Cleaning Ottawa, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations of the Province of Ontario.
2. Services we provide
We provide extreme cleaning and property restoration services, including:
- Hoarding Cleanup
- Biohazard Cleanup
- Estate Cleanup
- Trauma Scene Cleanup
- Odour Removal
- Squalor Decontamination
- Mould Removal & Remediation
- Asbestos Abatement
- Animal Waste & Pest Contamination Cleanup
- Water Damage Restoration
- Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration
- Sewage Backup Cleanup
Work is performed by licensed and insured crews carrying WSIB coverage, in compliance with Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) waste-transport requirements and, where asbestos is involved, Ontario Ministry of Labour regulations.
3. Assessments and quotes
On-site assessments are free within our service area. Every project is quoted in writing before work begins. A quote covers the scope described in it. Where hidden conditions are discovered during work, such as mould behind a wall assembly or fluid that has penetrated a subfloor, we will stop, show you the condition, and provide a separate written quote for that additional scope before continuing.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote unless stated otherwise. We accept cash, credit card, and insurance direct billing on covered claims. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. Overdue balances may be subject to interest as set out in your written quote.
5. Insurance claims
Where you ask us to bill an insurance carrier directly, you authorise us to communicate with the carrier and adjuster about the work and to provide the documentation they require. Direct billing does not remove your responsibility for amounts your policy does not cover, including deductibles and any scope your carrier declines.
6. Access, scheduling, and cancellation
You are responsible for arranging safe and lawful access to the property, including any tenant notice required by law and any building or elevator booking. Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule confirmed work. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee covering crew and equipment allocation.
7. Property, contents, and items of value
On estate and hoarding projects we will follow the sorting instructions agreed in writing before work begins. Where you or your authorised representative instruct us to dispose of contents, that instruction is final once material has left the property. Items identified as keepsakes, legal documents, or valuables are set aside for your review. We are not responsible for undeclared items of value concealed within material designated for disposal.
8. Health, safety, and site conditions
Our crews follow protective and containment protocols appropriate to the contamination category present. Access to an active work area may be restricted for your safety. Some conditions, including structural damage, pest infestation, and pre-existing defects, fall outside cleaning and restoration scope and may require another qualified trade.
9. Service standards
We aim to deliver work to the standard described in your written quote and to Ontario health-code standards where sanitization is in scope. If you are not satisfied with the work, contact us within seven days of completion and we will review it with you and work to resolve the issue.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Best Extreme Cleaning Ottawa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Best Extreme Cleaning Ottawa and is protected by Canadian copyright law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
13. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. The terms in force when you accept a written quote govern that project.
